Course Description

This course provides an introductory overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for adult learners with no prior technical background. Students are introduced to fundamental AI concepts, terminology, and practical applications used in everyday life and across various professional fields, including education, business, healthcare, and media.

The course emphasizes conceptual understanding rather than programming or advanced mathematics. Students explore key areas such as machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, and image recognition through examples, discussions, and guided activities. Ethical and societal issues related to AI, including data privacy, bias, and responsible use, are examined.

By the end of the course, students will have developed AI literacy, basic analytical skills, and the ability to communicate confidently about AI topics in English.
